About the role
The Institute of History at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) is recruiting 2 postdoctoral researchers for the ERC Consolidator Grant Project ‘WILDHIST – Wild Rubber in the Industrial Age: A Global History of Production’. The project is led by Dr. David Pretel.
Responsibilities
- Postdoc 1: The history of rubber production in the Amazon rainforest.
- Postdoc 2: The history of rubber production in the Congo Basin.
Requirements
Applicants should have a PhD in History or a related field, with expertise in the history of rubber production, and a strong research background in global history.
Qualifications
Experience with archival research, data analysis, and publication in peer-reviewed journals are required. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of Spanish is desirable.
