EKG Technologist PRN

About the role

This is a PRN (as-needed) position offering a pay range of $16.14 - $25.83 per hour, with an hourly rate of $18.45 plus shift differentials.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Checks practitioner orders for accuracy and clarifies with offices, floors, or physicians as needed.
• Provides excellent customer service and ensures effective communication among all caregivers.
• Performs EKGs accurately and efficiently.
• Maintains all equipment in proper working order.
• Completes delegated daily, weekly, and monthly tasks promptly.
• Interacts with patients and staff in a professional and courte manner.
• Ensures timely and accurate documentation of all tasks and procedures.
• Assists with patient care activities as needed.
• Participates in ongoing training and development to maintain skills and knowledge.
• Supports quality improvement initiatives within the department.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
• Associate degree (Preferred)
• 1+ years of experience in a related field (Preferred)
• Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS) (Required)
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) (Preferred)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (Preferred)
• Certificate in EKG technology (Preferred)
