EKG Technician - Per Diem Wknds - Cardiology
About the Role
We're hiring a Per Diem EKG Technician to join our Diagnostic Cardiology Team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-energy environment and is passionate about making a real impact on patient care. You'll perform electrocardiograms, Holter monitors, stress tests, and cardiac monitoring on inpatients and outpatients of all ages, following established standards and policies.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) on patients of all ages.
- Apply and monitor Holter monitors.
- Conduct stress tests as required.
- Monitor cardiac activity for inpatients and outpatients.
- Ensure all procedures are performed according to established standards and policies.
Requirements
- High School graduate.
- Previous EKG technician experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn fundamentals of ECG recording, medical terminology, and other non-invasive cardiology testing.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer use.
