EKG Technician

What You'll Need To Apply

• Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred Education: Vocational/technical school degree (job related)
• Required Experience: No previous experience is required
• PREFERRED Experience: 1 year of Cardiovascular Lab or cardiac related experience
• Knowledge of arrhythmias
• Required Certification/License/Registry: Successful completion of Arrhythmia Course required within first year of employment

How You'll Make An Impact

• Completes all types of electrocardiograms in all areas of the hospital
• Responds to CRTs and performs EKGs as needed
• Performs clerical tasks relating to tasks performed by the Cardiovascular Labs (scheduling, processing reports, recording pertinent information into logs)
• Maintains equipment and keeps updated
• Maintains super user status for Pyramis and Vision Premier
• Reports: Director Cardiovascular Labs, Lead EKG Technician
• Supervises: None
