EKG Technician
About the role
Performs safe, quality electrocardiograms for patients as directed according to established standards and practices and assists physicians and/or their offices as required. Transports patients as needed throughout the hospital.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Completion of a basic ECG/EKG Course.
- 1 year of medical setting, data entry, and processing experience.
- 1 year of EKG Technician experience.
- 1 year of Medical Terminology.
Qualifications
- Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Skills
- Knowledge of electrocardiogram procedures.
- Ability to assist physicians and staff.
- Experience with patient transportation.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Part time, Day Shift, 24 working hours weekly.
