EKG Technician
Job Summary
You will perform diagnostic electrocardiograms (EKGs) to assess cardiac function. Every day you will prepare patients, explain procedures, and accurately operate EKG machines to record heart activity, ensuring comfort and high-quality readings.

- Contribute to accurate cardiac diagnostics
- Adhere to the Standards of Conduct Requirements
- Complete and turn in the SOC acknowledgement card
- Fulfill compliance education requirements as directed
- Meet annual competency requirements
- Generate orders for electrocardiographic procedures
- Perform procedures with consideration for various age groups
- Handle patients from diverse backgrounds
- Ensure proper patient identification
Requirements
- Required: High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum one year experience as an EKG Technician
- Experience with standard EKGs, holter monitors, treadmill tests, nuclear stress tests, pharmacologic stress testing, and tilt table testing
- Basic Life Support - CPR
- PREFERRED: Some college
- Minimum one year experience in cardiovascular or electrocardiology transcription

Pay Range
