About the role
Conduct cardiac monitoring on the adult population
P Performs phlebotomy
P Practices effective Infection Control measures
P Performs direct nursing care activity as delegated
P Performs indirect nursing care activities as determined by routine assignment and unit activity
P Demonstrates knowledge of normal growth and development in the delivery of care to patients
P Responds to the changing needs of patient care areas
P Uses problem-solving in meeting patient care and unit needs
P Maintains a safe and efficient work environment
P Obtains, records, and exchanges information on behalf of the patient
P Uses ethical principles to guide decisions and actions consistent with UHB’s operating goals and objectives
P Respects and promotes Patients’ Rights
P Fosters/maintains positive public relations with patients, families, visitors, and staff
P Communicates effectively with customers, visitors, patients, and staff
