EIT - Fire Protection Engineer

Your Journey as a Fire Safety Specialist

Perform preliminary design and complex analysis for Performance Based Fire Engineering
Model fire and smoke behaviour using Fire Dynamics Simulator (NIST) and similar tools
Model occupant evacuation using Pathfinder, Evacnet, and spreadsheet calculations
Assess structural systems exposed to fire through computational methods
Write independent engineering reports and develop creative engineered solutions
Audit existing buildings for fire safety compliance
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and enforcing agencies on fire safety aspects
Contribute to marketing initiatives and fee proposals for complex projects

What You Bring

• B.S. in Fire Protection Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum of 1 internship in a fire safety role, 1-2 years full-time experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and fire modelling tools
• A collaborative, team-player mindset

Compensation

Estimated at $82,000 - $91,500+ biannual profit share bonus potential. Salary will be commensurate with experience / skills and location.
