Responsibilities
- Collect data and gather information or documents
- Perform standard computations or analysis
- Perform basic design tasks
- Prepare drawings and visual aids
- Prepare portions of project documents
- Edit specifications
- Perform research and investigations
- Observe construction activities
- Perform basic site inspection work
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certification required
- 0-5 years in fire protection engineering
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate contract documents, plans, and specifications
- Knowledge of the application of engineering and construction materials related to construction projects
- Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently
- Must have a flexible work schedule, be willing to travel up to 20%
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Regular, predictable attendance is required

- Pay Range: $66,000 – $82,000 (DOE)
