About the role

Miami Valley Child Development Centers (MVCDC) is seeking a Teacher Aide – Head Start & Early Head Start to support teachers in creating safe, nurturing, and engaging classrooms for young children. In this role, you’ll assist with daily routines, learning activities, and classroom organization while helping children grow socially, emotionally, and academically. You’ll also build positive relationships with children and families, collaborate with classroom teams, and support classrooms in meeting Head Start standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily routines and learning activities
• Help organize and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Support children’s social, emotional, and academic growth
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Collaborate with classroom teams to ensure classrooms meet Head Start standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children in a childcare setting preferred
• Ability to pass a background check
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with children and families
