Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety and environmental inspections and audits of facilities and equipment to identify and address hazards and risks
- Aid in the development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and training programs
- Maintain chemical management documentation, new equipment, and approval process
- Monitor and analyze EHS data, trends, and metrics to identify areas of improvement and support implementation of corrective actions
- Aid the EHS leader in the preparation of EHS reports and presentations
- Aid the EHS leader in leading EHS committees and teams to drive continuous improvement
- Maintain the improvements of EMS (ISO 14001) and SMS (ISO 45001) document control and systems
- Conduct or coordinate training to educate employees about safety policies, laws, and best practices
- Assist site supervisors in investigations of incidents and severe incidents to prevent recurrence
- Assist in the collection of samples for different testing analysis (i.e., storm water, chemicals, etc.)
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Provide EHS technical support for site-specific initiatives and projects
- Promote Daikin’s goal of zero (accidents, emissions, etc.)
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related fields
- 2-4 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (preferred)

Pay
The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $28.61 to $47.04 in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
