Responsibilities
- Respond to the immediate safety needs of the team.
- Provide initial response to EHS incidents.
- Participate in Incident Review meetings.
- Monitor recycling and waste disposal.
- Facilitate facility wide EHS inspections and schedules.
- Help establish and grow the company’s safety culture and business through daily interaction with associates by actively listening and following through on projects.
- Ensure day-to-day compliance with EHS policies and regulations while focusing on continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Health and Safety or 3+ years of relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to communicate within all levels of the organization and with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintains a positive attitude and displays proactive habits.
Work Environment & Schedule
- This role is fully onsite at the Illuminate USA manufacturing facility.
- Must be able to work a 12-hour shift.
- Frequent walking throughout the production floor, warehouse areas, and outdoor areas.
