Your Responsibilities
- Oversee safety protocols for mobile service truck operations, including vehicle inspections, driving practices, roadside procedures, and field service activities.
- Develop and deliver safety training for mobile service technicians covering DOT regulations, hazard communication, lockout/tagout, and job hazard analysis.
- Lead investigations of vehicle accidents, injuries, and near-misses, document findings, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations through regular audits and monitoring.
- Perform risk assessments for field operations, collaborate with fleet management on mitigation strategies, and maintain emergency response plans.
- Track and report safety KPIs, including incident trends, audit results, and training completion, providing updates and recommendations to leadership.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in mobile service or industrial fleet environments.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations.
- Experience with safety management systems and incident tracking software.
- Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills.
- Safety certification a plus (e.g., CSP, CHST, OSHA 30).
- Experience with heavy equipment or industrial service operations.
- Familiarity with GPS fleet tracking and telematics systems.
