EHS Lead

About the role
The Environmental Health and Safety Lead supports the implementation and administration of EHS programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, company policies, and maritime industry standards. This position conducts safety and environmental activities, supports regulatory compliance, assists with training and incident prevention, and identifies opportunities to reduce workplace hazards and improve EHS performance. The role partners with leaders and employees to promote a safe and healthy work environment. Domestic travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain EHS programs to support OSHA, EPA, and maritime compliance
- Conduct safety audits, assessments, investigations, root cause analyses, and assist with corrective actions
- Coordinate EHS training, reporting, emergency response planning, and required recordkeeping
- Partner to identify hazards, promote safe work practices, and support EHS improvement initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
