About The Role

The Field EHS Compliance Manager supports field and sealant operations and actively assists in reducing employee and operational exposure to environmental, health and safety risks at construction sites. This individual uses a variety of tools, techniques, and data collection methods to analyze trends and make recommendations for corrective action. This position is responsible for implementing and overseeing safety programs and procedures at construction sites to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role plays a critical part in promoting a culture of safety, preventing incidents, and ensuring the health and well-being of all personnel on-site.

Pay

Salary range $74,513-$111,769 a year. Based on location and experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Identifies, implements, and maintains field safety processes to prevent injuries.
  • Builds and reinforces a strong safety culture, holding all employees accountable.
  • Conducts Job Safety Analyses, site inspections, and audits, implementing necessary changes.
  • Delivers OSHA compliance and new hire safety training, maintaining accurate records.
  • Rectifies unsafe acts and recognizes safe behaviors to reinforce safety practices.
  • Sets and tracks safety goals to protect employees and minimize company liability.
  • Manages workers’ compensation cases and supports injured employees’ return to work.
  • Investigates accidents, incidents, and near misses, performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
  • Evaluates and recommends improvements for PPE and other safety equipment.
  • Collaborates with leadership, safety committees, and project teams to integrate and monitor safety in daily operations.

Who We’re Looking For

  • A proactive, detail-oriented safety professional experienced in field safety processes and regulatory compliance.
  • The ideal candidate excels at building a safety-first culture, conducting site inspections and audits, delivering OSHA and new hire training, and managing workers' compensation cases.
  • Strong skills in accident investigation, root cause analysis, and effective cross-team collaboration are essential.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in safety management, construction management, industrial Hygiene or related program, bi-lingual capabilities (Spanish-English), CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician), OSHA 10 and 30-hour certification in construction, knowledge of Fall Protection Systems, Rigging, Crane Operations, First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification, possession of a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

  • Occasional visits to active plant and field locations are required based on operational needs.
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required while in the plant and field.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate active plant and field environments as needed.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, walk on uneven surfaces, and safely move through industrial work areas.
  • May be exposed to moving equipment, machinery, and other standard industrial hazards.
  • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, as well as noise, dust, and vibration.
