About the Role
Siemens is seeking an EHS Coordinator at its manufacturing facility in Hingham, MA. The EHS professional is responsible for managing safety OSHA compliance across the employee facility and its operations, and for the development, implementation, and coordination of environmental programs and policies to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Train employees on EH&S programs including but not limited to Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protection, Emergency Response, Hazard Communication, etc. (crafting training content and presenting).
- Perform administrative duties for the EHS department regarding general data entry and filing of training records, compliance documentation, and other EH&S records.
- Support implementation of various EHS policies and programs, with high involvement in environmental compliance.
- Build/review standard operating procedures, Job Hazard Analysis, and other applicable ISO documents.
- Perform incident investigations and assist in corrective actions as well as audits.
- Manage waste (waste profiles and coordinate disposal).
- Assist in ensuring the facility stays current with existing and new regulations for local, state, and federal (RCRA, OSHA, EPA, Cal OSHA, etc.).
- Assess new or existing environmental regulations and determine applicability to the facility.
- Help acquire and coordinate new ISO standards and procedures as needed.
- Software troubleshooting.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- BS or equivalent experience in EHS or related field.
- 2-5 years’ experience in an EHS role or a role that worked with EHS in a manufacturing facility.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and 45001.
- Demonstrated experience working on cross-functional teams and leading targets and objectives.
- Proven track record of facilitating training, including presentation in PowerPoint.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate topics with management, office employees, and shop floor operators.
- Approachable, with the ability to interact one-on-one with managers, peers, and shop floor workers.
- Good time management skills, with the intent to reduce one-on-one support and transition office employees to a more self-guided solution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within electrical equipment, power distribution, or industrial manufacturing environments.
- NFPA 70E Experience.
- First Aid/CPR/AED Training.

Pay
$82,000 – $110,000 per year.
