About the role
Grimmway Produce Group is seeking an EHS Coordinator responsible to serve as the area specialist in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) matters.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge in EHS Safety compliance laws, procedures, and regulations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other similar software programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Must be a self-starter and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work different shifts
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays depending on business needs
- Must have the ability to travel to various Grimmway facilities as needed
- Must be bi-lingual, English/Spanish, with the ability to speak, read, and write in both
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record
- Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen and physical and functional capacity evaluation
- Must pass a background check
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of EHS experience in agricultural farming, food processing, or a related field
- Must have the ability to work different shifts
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays depending on business needs
- Must have the ability to travel to various Grimmway facilities as needed
- Must be bi-lingual, English/Spanish, with the ability to speak, read, and write in both
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record

- Must pass a background check
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in EHS preferred
- Training certificates in EHS preferred
- Basic knowledge in PSM, Cal-ARP, and RMP, and DPR programs, preferred
