EHS Advisor Sr

Responsibilities

  • Supports communication and ensures compliance with EHS and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Provides support and counsel to leaders and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of EHS policies, procedures and practices.
  • Covers employee issues and/or concerns; if necessary, conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations to ensure concerns are appropriately resolved in a timely manner.
  • Works effectively with local HR team.
  • Maintains accurate employee records and administrative procedures that comply with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with Operations, Managers, Supervisors, and employees.
  • Participates in meetings to discuss workplace safety and regulatory concerns and opportunities.
  • Outlines and implements training programs to educate and inform on workplace safety.
  • Basic First Aid Response
  • Accident/incident/near miss prevention, regulations and response
  • Regulatory compliance, programs and expectations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, or equivalent field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 4-7 years related experience in Safety.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to effectively work with others and maintain professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook).
