About the role
You’ll partner closely with operations and clinical teams to support Epic adoption, workflow improvement, and use of clinical technology.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and group coaching to clinicians on EpicCare Ambulatory and related clinical technologies
- Facilitate classroom and group training sessions for new and existing nurses and providers
- Assess knowledge gaps and clinical workflows, and implement targeted learning and improvement interventions to improve efficiency and reduce administrative burden
- Evaluate clinical workflows and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and alignment with Epic and other clinical systems
- Develop and maintain clear, practical training materials and resources
- Maintain working relationships with clinical teams
- Support adoption of Epic and related clinical technologies within assigned clinical areas
- Monitor progress and share recommendations with clinical leaders and stakeholders
- Build and maintain working relationships with clinical teams
- Support workflow improvements or practice changes in a clinical setting
- Translate clinical workflows into practical, system-based processes or training
- Manage priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment
Requirements
- Current EpicCare Ambulatory Certification or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
- Graduate from an accredited school for licensed practical nursing and possess a State Licensed Practical Nurse license OR Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a State Registered Nurse license
- 3+ years of clinical experience in an ambulatory setting
- Experience working directly with providers and clinical staff in a collaborative environment
- Experience building rapport and trust with clinicians through consistent communication and follow-through
- Experience supporting workflow improvements or practice changes in a clinical setting
- Experience supporting clinical teams through system and workflow changes
- Experience translating clinical workflows into practical, system-based processes or training
- An organized and self-directed approach to work
- A professional, service-oriented communication style
