EH&S Specialist | 3rd Shift

Reports To: EHS Director

Position Overview

We’re seeking an EH&S Specialist to serve as the primary on‑site safety resource for our 3rd‑shift associates and leadership. This role supports safety programs, training, incident prevention, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary EH&S contact during 3rd shift
• Conduct safety/environmental audits and emergency response drills
• Deliver hands‑on and classroom safety training
• Support incident and near‑miss investigations and corrective actions
• Develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and facility risk assessments
• Promote OSHA, company safety, environmental, and GMP compliance
• Support safety permits, work orders, PSM activities, and PPE requirements
• Partner with operations and employees to strengthen our safety culture

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of EHS/safety experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and required insurance
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
• Availability to work 3rd shift, including occasional weekends/alternative schedules
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field
• Preferred: Safety‑focused certification
• Preferred: Spanish‑speaking ability
• Preferred: Experience conducting emergency or safety drills

Pay

Salary Range: 55,000K - 75,000K
