About the role
The Interiors Division of Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies business, is seeking an EH&S Generalist for its Everett location. This role reports directly to the site EH&S Manager but requires autonomy in managing EH&S plans and programs.
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of EH&S disciplines to advise on moderate to complex issues.
- Partner with third parties to manage Occupational Health program, Worker’s Compensation activities, and return-to-work program.
- Coordinate and conduct EH&S audits and inspections, and assist line management in implementing corrective actions.
- Identify and eliminate hazards to enhance site safety culture.
- Develop and deliver EH&S training as required by legislation or Collins/RTX requirements.
- Support the EH&S Management Committee in implementing RTX’s EH&S Management System.
- Maintain records and reports related to EH&S performance.
- Participate in regulatory inspections and provide necessary documentation.
- Explain and interpret EH&S regulations to ensure compliance.
- Leverage continuous improvement processes to enhance EH&S performance.
- Conduct incident investigations as needed.
- Adhere to the RTX Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
- A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years experience.
- Working experience managing OSHA and EPA requirements.
- Experience in Health and Safety Training.
- EH&S experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Experience in report writing, creating presentations, and using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience in leading meetings and presentations for EH&S and other teams.
- Professional qualifications such as ASP / CSP.
