About the Role
Exeter Hospital, Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a full-time night shift Labor and Delivery Travel RN to join our team serving the beautiful NH seacoast region. Our mission is to work together to create healthier communities, supported by a team-oriented staff focused on outstanding patient care and quality outcomes.
The Family Center features 15 newly renovated LDRP suites with jacuzzi tubs for hypnobirth and hydrotherapy, a nursery equipped with 4 sick bays, and a five-bed pediatric unit, all providing private accommodations. The unit averages 600 deliveries annually, and staff frequently scrub and circulate for Cesarean Sections.
Orientation is individualized based on your background and experience. After completing corporate and nursing orientations, you will be paired with a preceptor from the Family Center. Orientation duration is frequently evaluated with your preceptor and nurse manager. Additional educational opportunities include in-services from the unit-based educator, lactation consultant, and outreach services from Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital. Several staff are certified instructors in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), with certification opportunities offered throughout the year.
Requirements
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience
- RN license in New Hampshire or a compact state
- BCLS certification needed within 30 days of hire
- PALS and NRP certification within 90 days of hire
- Fetal Monitoring Certification within 1 year of hire
