Responsibilities
- Affords assistance to doctors including charting, filling placement, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
- Performs expanded duties in accordance with state regulations and compliance.
- Assists in clinical procedures and treatments such as placing amalgam or composite fillings, adapting temporary crowns, removing surgical sutures, and applying topical fluoride treatments.
- Records and reviews patient health histories, makes chart entries under the doctor’s direction, and ensures the completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
- Enters and updates patient treatment plans as directed by the treating doctor.
Requirements
- EFDA Certification or on-the-job training required per state requirements.
- Radiography licensure for respective state requirements.
- One to five years of experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.
- CPR Certification is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of dental charting software and digital x-rays with the ability to learn new programs as necessary.

Monday - Tuesday: 8 am - 5 pm
Wednesday - Thursday: 7 am - 4 pm
