EFDA

Responsibilities

• Assists doctors which includes but is not limited to charting, placement of fillings, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
• Able to perform expanded duties following state regulations and compliance.
• Affixes to clinical procedures and treatment such as: placing amalgam or composite fillings, adaptation of temporary crowns, removing surgical sutures, and applying topical fluoride treatments.
• Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
• Enters and updates patient treatment plans at the direction of the treating doctor.

Requirements

• EFDA Certification or on the job training required per state requirements.
• Radiography licensure for respective state requirements.
• 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of dental charting software and digital x-rays with the ability to learn new programs as necessary.

Schedule

Monday & Tuesday Office Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday Office Hours: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Thursday Office Hours: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Friday Office Hours: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
