EEG Technician

About the role

The Electroneurodiagnostic technologist will perform neurodiagnostic studies under the direction of the neurologist in accordance with the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ASET) guidelines. This position takes lead role in training and educating existing and/or new EEG students affiliated with Providence Health and Services Alaska while working collaboratively with the manager and medical director of the program.

Responsibilities

• Perform neurodiagnostic studies under the direction of the neurologist
• Train and educate existing and/or new EEG students affiliated with Providence Health and Services Alaska
• Collaborate with the manager and medical director of the program

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program
• National Certification from American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 3 years - In the performance of procedures in a patient care environment

• Associate's Degree - From an accredited college or university

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $31.71 – $49.22 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
