About the Role
Perform basic and advanced EEG testing, brain mapping, evoked potential testing, and monitoring for neonates, pediatrics, and adults.
Responsibilities
- Conduct EEG tests, monitor brain activity, and prepare reports for physician interpretation.
- Manage test preparation, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure optimal functioning of tools and testing rooms.
- Handle paperwork related to EEG storage and retrieval, and serve as system expert.
- Perform testing in various settings including labs and operating rooms.
- Take on-call responsibilities for neurological testing and assist with billing processes.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- EEG certification required.
- Minimum six months of EEG experience; one year preferred.
- Knowledge of test preparation, equipment troubleshooting, and system management.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
