Responsibilities
- Perform neurodiagnostic procedures under the supervision of the Director, Lead Technologist, and staff physicians.
- Train to become a Technologist in all aspects of Neurodiagnostic procedures.
- May perform more advanced procedures such as Neonatal EEG, EP, ICU-LTM, GRIDS, WADA, NCV, EMG, as advanced competencies are completed.
Qualifications
- High School graduate.
- 2 to 4 years' college preferred but not required.
- Graduation from a CAHEEP approved ENT training program highly desirable.
- If candidate does not have college, an OJT position at a large hospital with demonstrated competencies may be considered as substitute for END program.
- Candidates must have at least one of the four END modality registries to be considered (REEGT, REPT, RNCST, RPSGT).
- CLTM and/or CNIM are highly desirable.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without direction.
- Able to assume a leadership role when required.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Health Care Provider BLS (American Heart, American Red Cross).
- Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
