EEG Technical Specialist | Neurodiagnostics | Full-time | Days

Responsibilities

• Perform neurodiagnostic procedures under the supervision of the Director, Lead Technologist, and staff physicians.
• Train to become a Technologist in all aspects of Neurodiagnostic procedures.
• May perform more advanced procedures such as Neonatal EEG, EP, ICU-LTM, GRIDS, WADA, NCV, EMG, as advanced competencies are completed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• 2 to 4 years' college preferred but not required.
• Graduation from a CAHEEP approved ENT training program highly desirable.
• If candidate does not have college, an OJT position at a large hospital with demonstrated competencies may be considered as substitute for END program.
• Candidates must have at least one of the four END modality registries to be considered (REEGT, REPT, RNCST, RPSGT).
• CLTM and/or CNIM are highly desirable.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently without direction.
• Able to assume a leadership role when required.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Health Care Provider BLS (American Heart, American Red Cross).
• Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
