EEG Tech I - Contingent Day Shift

About the role

The EEG technologist I position is an entry-level role within the Neurophysiology Department at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety during EEG monitoring in the EMU or VEEG procedure.
• Ensure electrode integrity and monitor patients visually using cameras.
• Track and observe up to 8 epilepsy patients simultaneously.

Requirements

• High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Six months or more experience in a patient care environment.
• Enrollment in or graduation from a CAAHEP accredited Electrodiagnostic (END) program is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required.
