About the role
The EEG Tech position at St Michael Medical Center involves performing diagnostic Electroencephalography, seizure monitoring, and evoked potential recordings of the brain or central nervous system according to physician orders and established protocols. Responsibilities include preparing patients, ensuring a safe testing environment, executing studies, observing and documenting results, and monitoring equipment under direct healthcare provider supervision.
Responsibilities
- Performs and records EEG procedures under direct supervision of a licensed health care provider.
- Prepares the EEG record for analysis and interpretation.
- Completes all required documentation in accordance with department protocol.
- Maintains laboratory with supplies and keeps equipment in clean operating condition.
Requirements
- Two years of work experience in a medical field.
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.
Preferred
- Graduation from an accredited neurophysiologic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and/or Registry in an Electroneurodiagnostics (END) discipline, upon hire.
- Registered EEG Technologist, upon hire.

Pay
The posted compensation range of $33.74 - $50.17 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
