About the Role

Welcome to Mayfield Early Education Brinsmead! We are looking for a natural nurturer with a big heart and a passion for helping little minds grow. At Mayfield Early Education, we are all about creating a cosy, safe, and fun environment where kids can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually.

Why Work With Us?

When you join Mayfield Early Education Brose Street, you are not just joining a workplace—you're joining a family! We are dedicated to creating a warm, supportive community where both children and educators feel valued and cared for. Here, every team member is encouraged to shine, with endless opportunities to learn and grow in a setting that celebrates inclusion and connection.

What Makes This Role Unique?

At Brinsmead, we believe in going beyond normal Early Education expectations. Our educators are mentors, guides, and trusted friends who create a nurturing space for children to explore, learn, and feel truly understood. You will be part of a close-knit team that genuinely cares about each other and shares a passion for making a difference. We work together to support each child's whole development, partnering with families to build strong, positive relationships.

  • Provide a comforting and secure presence, making every child feel special and understood.
  • Foster a calm, respectful atmosphere where kids can form friendships and develop positive social skills.
  • Collaborate with families, sharing insights and working together to support the whole-child development.
  • Team up with fellow educators to build a welcoming, inclusive environment.
  • Use your keen observation skills to meet each child's unique needs and interests.
  • Engage in professional development, keeping your skills sharp and aligned with best practices.

  • A Cert III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
  • A valid Blue Card.
  • Availability to work Tuesday to Friday 9am to 1pm initially and more over time.
  • Training in Child Protection, Red Nose, and Food Safety (or a willingness to obtain).
  • A working knowledge of the NQF, EYLF & Child Safe Standards.
  • A genuine love for working with young children and helping them thrive.

Benefits

  • Generous enrolment discounts for your children in any Mayfield Centre.
  • Professional development, including overseas study tour opportunities!
  • Nationally Recognised Traineeships - we partner with KKTC (backed by TAFE) to offer Cert III, Diploma, Bachelor and Management-level qualifications in ECEC.
  • Above award rates for the right candidates in the right roles – we pay what you're worth.
  • Staff referral bonuses – because great people know great people!
  • Reward & recognition programs applicable to all employees because we see you; we value you, and we want you to know it.
