Educator and Instructional Design Internship:

What You Will Do

• Assist remote and onsite teachers in developing strategies for efficient instruction
• Assist with the facilitation of classroom discussions, correcting/encouraging students, and ensuring that students receive innovative learning experiences
• Learn our instructional design and online teaching methods
• Participate in Company Wide Professional Development initiatives

• Lesson planning and finding creative learning solutions
• Strategies for efficient instruction; learning from an experienced educator and developing your abilities in creating lesson plans for high school students through the utilization of educational technology
• The best practices of instructional design and online teaching
• Development of Innovative approaches, instructional and communication skills to effectively engage students in an online platform
• Mentorship from top educators from across the country

Who We Are Looking For

• Current college seniors or grad school students with proof of enrollment, preferably with degree or focus in teaching, education, educational technology, or a related field
• Those who share our passion for technology, education, and equality
• Interest in learning from experienced educators about instructional design and developing online teaching strategies
• Interest in working remotely in an online environment with a flexible schedule
• Proven ability to set priorities and manage expectations
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable with public speaking to small or large groups
• Positive team player who’s comfortable with ambiguity and proactive approaches to problem-solving
• Confident with leading a group, initiating activities, working independently, and team teaching
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google for Work Suite, LMS, or instructional technology
