Position Description
MSAD #11 is currently seeking a team-oriented, energetic, and creative professional to join the District Staff as an Educational Technician III in the Gifted and Talented program. The successful candidate will mentor and support students through their personal learning plans and serve as a resource for general education teachers.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct instruction for students through lessons that have been co-planned and are supported by the Gifted and Talented Teacher
- Conduct Personalized Learning Plan meetings
- Provide written reports to teachers
- Correspond with parents and teachers of identified students
- Recruit community resources for staff and students
- Conduct Type I activities for the general student population in accordance with the School Wide Enrichment Model (SEM)
- Conduct Type II activities for the general population
- Oversee and assist with Type III activities for identified Gifted/Talented students
Pay Scale (2026-2027)
Placement on the scale is dependent upon experience.
- Tech I: Step 1 - $19.76
- Tech II: Step 1 - $21.08
- Tech III: Step 1 - $22.39
- Tech I: Step 9 - $23.74
- Tech II: Step 9 - $25.33
- Tech III: Step 9 - $26.90
