Educational Support Professional - Instructional

Job summary

To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage and confidence to achieve their dreams, contribute to community, and engage in a lifetime of learning by assisting teaching staff and student with instructional support in the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Support students' academic and social-emotional needs
• ESP will have a rotating schedule between ATS, Study Hall, and Hallway Supervision
• Assist the Principal, School Counselors, and Instructional Assistants with social-emotional learning and behavior support to individual students
• Supervise students in large group situations in classroom and other areas of the building or small groups
• Work with students individually or in small groups instructionally
• Assist in small group assessments and data management as it relates to student work in the areas of reading and math
• Perform functions associated with classroom protocols
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Pay

• $21.42 - $26.42 / Hourly
• Classification 2; view salary grid on the respective bargaining unit listed above, accessible via our Employee Contracts page

Schedule

• 6 hours/day; School Days
• Shift: First (Day)
