Compensation
The initial compensation for this position ranges from $21.86 - $26.89 per hour, depending on experience, location, and internal equity considerations. An 8% license differential is offered for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD., and select peer certifications. A 7.5% bilingual differential is available for qualified positions.

Job Summary
Provides assistance in helping students complete their vocational and educational goals, access community resources, facilitate educational/vocational activities, educate clients and families on graduation requirements, and support preparations for job and career development.
Responsibilities
- Affords vocational and educational planning to help youth establish appropriate academic and career goals.
- Collects, organizes, and analyzes student information through records, tests, interviews, and professional sources to provide educational and vocational guidance and counseling.
- Supports and guides students with their education and vocational plans.
- Attends and advocates for school services for the student at Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) or other meetings.
- Compiles and studies occupational, educational, and economic information to aid students in making and carrying out educational and vocational objectives.
- Assists individuals to understand and overcome social and emotional problems impacting their educational and vocational objectives.
- Attends, supports, and advocates for students and family members in academic and IEP meetings.
- Referred students to placement services and other educational and vocational community resources.
- Educates students about competitive work opportunities and offers direct placement services as appropriate to skill level and personal needs.
- Provides long-term job coaching for students to assist in work stability and retention.
- Serves as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing assessments of student's capabilities, capacities, and reporting the status of work and educational goals.
- Provides expertise, knowledge, and information to the multidisciplinary team in areas related to work and educational trends, employment models, educational services, student profiles, and demographic data as appropriate.
- Serves as part of the on-call team, fulfilling all work requirements of the program.
- Provides transportation to students as needed.
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned to support department/business needs.
Qualifications
- An associate's degree (AA/AS) and four (4) years related experience in a mental health/education/vocational setting are required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (two years of relevant experience equals one year of education).
- Ability to speak, read, and/or write another language is preferred.
