Responsibilities
- Support the Office of the Provost by assisting with research, advocacy, and analysis of educational related policies.
- Monitor local, state, or federal education bills and policy changes.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative policy research and literature reviews.
- Translate complex academic research or legal texts into clear fact sheets, briefs, and memos.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a graduate or post-graduate program at a SUNY school.
- Strong technical proficiency across the full Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient in gathering, organizing, and evaluating data sets.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with precise editing capabilities.
Additional Information
- Hours are flexible. Typically averaging 20 hours per week.
- Paid Positions: Undergraduate students $16.00/hour: Graduate students $18.00/hour. Doctoral students: $20.00/hour.
