Educational Interpreter - American Sign Language (ASL)
Education/Experience
- Certified with Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or equivalent.
- Degree or completion of 48 semester units from an accredited college or university or district assessment/county certificate showing compliance with ESSA are required.
- Proof is required.
Examination
The selection process will consist of competitive application screening for completeness, qualifications, and experience. Application evaluation (weighted 10%) and an oral interview exam (weighted 90%) will be conducted. A passing score must be achieved on each portion to be placed on the eligibility list. Final interviews for specific vacancies will be scheduled from the approved eligibility list.
