About the role

The Family Medicine Residency of Idaho (FMRI Boise) program is recruiting for a board certified, broad spectrum family physician core faculty member for a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and teach the full spectrum of patient care including outpatient care, inpatient medicine, obstetrics with or without surgical skills, pediatrics, and procedures.
  • Passion and desire to serve the underserved and vulnerable populations of Idaho.
  • Interest in curriculum building, didactic teaching, advising and mentorship, and residency excellence.
  • Excitement for GME and advocacy within family medicine.

Requirements

  • Board certified, broad spectrum family physician.
  • Experience working with residents and medical students.
  • Licensure / Certification: Full Circle Health medical team members must have the ability to be fully credentialed, licensed and privileged at Full Circle Health and our partner hospitals; Unrestricted / unconditional license to practice under the laws of the State of Idaho; Maintain Board certification by the American Board of Family Medicine; Possess an unrestricted Board of Pharmacy registration, unrestricted DEA registration and all necessary federal narcotics and controlled substance numbers and licenses; Maintain eligibility to participate in Medicare, Medicaid and all other third party payment programs that contract with Full Circle Health.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Previous faculty experience preferred, other relevant clinical patient care experience will be considered.

  • Passion for teaching and experience working with residents and medical students.
  • Ability to maintain and teach the full spectrum of patient care.
  • Desire to serve the underserved and vulnerable populations of Idaho.

Pay

Competitive salary with additional compensation based on experience.

Schedule

  • Work 4 days per week which includes administrative time, precepting in both clinic and the hospital, and your own clinical care.
  • Evening and weekend hospital call is required.
