Educational Assistant

About the role

The Educational Assistant will support students in achieving their academic goals under the guidance of teachers. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson preparation, monitoring student progress, and providing one-on-one support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom management
• Mentor and support students in various academic areas
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Experience working with children in educational settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Educator Certification
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Passing score on the PA Department of Education Assessment

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Pay

Salary range: $25,000 - $30,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
