- Work with small groups of students to reinforce skills, answer questions, provide constructive academic feedback
- Act as a positive role model for young children
Requirements
- Hold an associates degree or higher
- OR Have an equivalent of two years of college coursework totaling 48 hours at an accredited institution of higher learning
- OR Pass the Education Testing Service (ETS) Para-Pro Assessment
Qualifications
- Achieve excellent attendance
- Show ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Establish effective schedule and work routines
- Be able to work under the direction of a certified teacher and complete assigned work-related duties
