Education & Workforce Development Coordinator (In-Person)

About The Role

The Education & Workforce Development Coordinator supports the IECRM Training Department by planning, supporting, and implementing all IECRM Continuing Education (CEU) and Career College (CC) Courses - both In-Class and Online. Responsibilities include scheduling, outreach, communication to instructors, students, contractor members, and colleagues. Collaboration with the IECRM Training Director is key to developing new models for class delivery and supporting workforce development strategies.

  • Ensuring compliance with state regulations for CEUs and Career College Classes
  • Coordinating with the Training Department for all training needs
  • Maintaining the IECRM Academic Calendar and collaborating with the Training Director on new class structures
  • Managing classroom and remote training needs
  • Communicating with Contractor Members and Industry Partners on IECRM Continuing Education initiatives
  • Overseeing and coordinating classroom presentations and distribution of support materials
  • Collecting and maintaining instructor evaluations, rosters, certificates, and sign-in sheets
  • Developing, implementing, and executing outreach programs and awareness campaigns for high schools and Workforce Development programs
  • Organizing and attending career and job fairs
  • Supporting Workforce Development strategies of the association
  • Aiding in student documentation and data entry
  • Collaborating with Development Director and other staff on grant funding
  • Communicating with all IECRM staff to ensure timely completion of training-related duties, tasks, and responsibilities
  • Assisting in event set-up, execution, and coordination

Skills And Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products
  • Experience using business email services like Gmail and Outlook
  • Previous experience with or ability to learn common office equipment like modern phone systems, printers, and copy machines
  • Experience in construction trades and/or residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical knowledge
  • Quickly adapting to high-stress environments and handling multiple requests
  • Strong communication and self-motivation skills
  • Attention to detail and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Organizational and time management skills, including flexibility and multitasking

Pay

$50,000-60,000 a year

Schedule

This is a full-time role with typical hours of 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours for training or member events.
