Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced EdTech customer support professional to join our Education Success team as an Education Success Manager. This role is comparable to a Customer Success Manager position and carries direct responsibility for the full partner lifecycle, from onboarding and implementation through contract renewal and account expansion. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in the EdTech industry, a proven record of managing renewals and growing accounts, and genuine enthusiasm for how AI can enhance education. Depending on expertise, this position may be scoped as a senior role with cross-regional responsibilities. Key ResponsibilitiesImplementation, Onboarding, and Account ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for assigned school and district partners, guiding them through onboarding and ensuring successful implementation of Colleague AI.Monitor partner health, track engagement, and follow up proactively to drive adoption and satisfaction.Maintain accurate records of conversations, meetings, and account activity with schools and districts. Contract Renewals and ExpansionOwn the contract renewal process for assigned accounts, including scheduling, preparation, and negotiation.Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within existing partnerships.Collaborate with the sales team to support new school and district partnerships, conduct platform demonstrations, and contribute to closing deals. Professional Development and TrainingPlan, schedule, and deliver professional development and training sessions for teachers, school staff, and administrators.Develop training materials, including use cases, tutorial videos, and written guides for both live and asynchronous learning.Conduct post-training follow-up and analysis, and collect evidence to improve training practices and inform effective implementation. Outreach and AdvocacyRepresent Colleague AI at regional and national education conferences as a presenter, exhibitor, or company representative, including proposal development, material preparation, and travel.Support use case dissemination through videos, posts, blogs, and podcasts.Act as a trusted partner and advocate for educators, ensuring their feedback informs product and training improvements. Cross-Functional and Cross-Regional CollaborationProvide cross-regional support as a member of the Education Success team.Support the product and engineering teams through new feature testing and bug reporting.Support the marketing team with use case content and exhibit hall presence when schedules align with conference travel. QualificationsDemonstrated minimum 3-year experience in the EdTech industry supporting implementation, onboarding, and customer success (REQUIRED).Proven track record of managing contract renewals and account expansion (REQUIRED).K-12 teaching, instructional coaching, or school administration experience (strongly preferred).Ability to create engaging instructional materials for live and asynchronous delivery.Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills across diverse educator and administrator audiences.Deep interest in and enthusiasm for AI in education.Comfortable with regional travel for school visits, conferences, and events.Entrepreneurial mindset, flexibility, and eagerness to grow with a startup team. Location & TravelCandidates should expect moderate regional travel for school visits, conferences, and partner engagements, with occasional cross-regional support as needed. Hiring Process & Introductory PeriodCandidates can expect two to three rounds of interviews. Interview notifications will begin after August 31, 2026, and will continue on a rolling basis until the position is filled.Employment begins with a 90-day introductory period, starting on the first day of employment following completion of the interview process. During this period, the new hire and Colleague AI will assess mutual fit, clarify expectations, and establish performance goals. The introductory period is a paid period of employment.Completion of the introductory period does not alter the at-will nature of employment, and it does not constitute a guarantee of continued employment for any specific duration. Either party may end the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice, both during and after the introductory period.
