Education Program Supervisor
Position Overview
You will be part of the management team responsible for managing the overall program quality. As Program Supervisor you will be working with teachers, helping with assessments, actively mentoring teachers in the implementation of our developmentally appropriate curriculum. You’ll also assist the Director in other aspects of managing a passionate team of childcare professionals who make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community every day. And you’ll do it in an environment with enhanced health and safety protocols.
Position Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of full time experience in managing center-based programs in an Program Manager, Assistant Director or similar management role.
- A thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations (WACs) for child care centers and a great understanding of developmentally-appropriate practices.
- Absolutely must have at least an AA degree in child care or management, or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Action oriented, organized, strategic thinker, focused on getting the right things done.
