Education Program Manager

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking an experienced Education Program Manager to support our Federal Government client in New London, Connecticut. The Education Program Manager will oversee the day-to-day delivery of educational programming, coordinate school and community engagement activities, supervise instructional personnel, and support engaging STEM and history-based learning experiences. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and implement approved K-12 and adult educational programsSupport continuous improvement of educational programming and curriculum deliverySupervise and mentor education support personnel and volunteersCoordinate school field trips, group visits, schedules, and participant flowManage educational materials, supplies, setup, safety, and inventoryCoordinate with volunteer personnel to train docents and volunteers supporting educational programsDevelop and maintain relationships with schools, homeschool networks, community organizations, and other educational partnersSupport hands-on educational programming aligned with established curriculum frameworksTrack education schedules, supplies, and program requirementsSupport community and off-site educational initiativesMaintain a professional and engaging learning environment for diverse audiencesProvide quality control and guidance to personnel delivering educational sessions Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education, Museum Studies, Public History, or a STEM disciplineFour (4) to six (6) years of progressive experience in museum education, curriculum development, or education program administrationDemonstrated experience working with school administrators, community organizations, or similar educational partnersExperience coordinating field trips, educational programs, or community learning initiativesKnowledge of curriculum frameworks, such as Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and experience translating curriculum into engaging hands-on learning activitiesExperience supervising or mentoring instructional staffExperience coordinating schedules, educational supplies, and program logisticsExperience supporting community outreach or educational initiativesStrong communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skillsSchedule flexibility to support weekends, school breaks, and special evening eventsMust be able to successfully complete required Federal background and suitability screening Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a related fieldKnowledge of maritime history or related subject matterExperience with STEM educationFamiliarity with educational technology, science labs, interactive learning environments, or maker spaces This position is tied to a future business opportunity.
