About the role
This is a part time contract position to be paid at a negotiated hourly rate or monthly retainer. Estimated commitment is 20-25 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Manage NCRA's Accredited Formal Education Program
- Coordinate communications with accredited colleges, universities, and certificate programs.
- Manage annual reports, reaccreditation reviews, invoices, and accreditation applications.
- Organize quarterly meetings with program directors.
- Analyze and share Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) exam results with education programs.
- Collaborate with committees and subject matter experts to update educational standards, practicum guides, online assessments, and learning resources.
- Support recruitment of new accredited programs through presentations, outreach, and marketing efforts.
- Cook up and deliver educational webinars
- Work with NCRA committees to develop webinar topics and learning objectives.
- Cook up and deliver educational workshops
- Partner with volunteer leaders and subject matter experts to design curriculum for in-person and virtual workshops.
- Coordinate speakers, workshop materials, evaluations, and participant communications.
- Support workshop marketing efforts by preparing descriptions, timelines, and speaker biographies.
- Manage onsite delivery of in-person workshops at NCRA's Annual Conference.
- Lead virtual workshop logistics, including presenter preparation, event moderation, and post-event follow-up
Requirements
- Proven experience in adult education, training, curriculum development, instructional design, or workforce learning.
- Experience managing educational programs, workshops, webinars, or professional development activities.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience working collaboratively with subject matter experts, volunteers, and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms (Microsoft Teams preferred).
Qualifications
- Experience with accreditation, education program management, or learning management systems.
- Familiarity with healthcare education, credentialing, or professional associations.
- Knowledge of cancer registry operations, cancer data collection, or cancer surveillance practices is a plus, but not required.
