Education Program Manager, Alpha - $200,000/year USD
About Alpha
Join the team building school around student growth. Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning, stronger mentorship, and more time for students to build real-world skills. Alpha hires teachers (guides), operators, admissions experts, school & curriculum leaders, and remote team members. The culture is fast-moving, ambitious, and student-focused—ideal for people who want to improve the system, not maintain it. This is where you can do the most meaningful work of your career.
About the role
The most effective leaders understand that success is not defined by individual accomplishments, but by the achievements of those they develop and support. As a Lead Guide, you will assemble and develop the team that executes Alpha’s model—mentoring Guides, cultivating leaders, and establishing an environment where students routinely surpass expectations. This is not a traditional instructional-coaching or classroom-teaching role; instead, your work centers on building a culture of excellence through Guide coaching, facilitating impactful life-skills workshops, and inspiring students to pursue ambitious goals. Performance is assessed based on the quality of the student experience, your team’s outcomes, and your capacity to uphold rigorous standards while motivating others to reach them.
Alpha is constructing the world’s premier K-12 experience, demanding leaders who have demonstrated the ability to elevate the performance of others, make evidence-based decisions, and champion innovative approaches instead of defending legacy practices.
This position is available at select Alpha campuses: Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Miami, FL; Miami Beach, FL; Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; New York City, NY; Orange County, CA; and Santa Barbara, CA. Relocation support is available for candidates open to moving to one of these markets. Exceptional candidates from other regions are also welcome to apply; as Alpha grows, outstanding leaders are frequently aligned with opportunities throughout the expanding campus network.
