About the role
The Point of Care Education group within the Service Enablement Organization is responsible for the development and delivery of education and training curriculum for Siemens Technical and Applications Specialists as well as third-party vendors. As a Technical Training Development Intern, you will support the creation of web self-study courses targeting global support professionals, incorporating guided learning with hands-on activities and knowledge checks. You will ensure the overall instructional integrity of the online training solutions and work directly with leadership, trainers, and subject matter experts on project needs and priorities.
Responsibilities
- Create and design digital content including workbooks, images, and graphics for online training programs.
- Develop instructional web-based trainings and videos with minimal assistance, including audio and video editing.
- Design content that enables successful performance of required hands-on activities.
- Adhere to design specifications to ensure quality, consistency, and conformation for delivery method.
- Ensure that all digital courses are technically accurate and direct learners to approved documentation.
- Interact with subject matter experts and other stakeholders as needed.
- Comply with all company and departmental policies.
Qualifications
- Student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Education, Instructional Design, or Instructional Technology.
- Rising junior or senior status in a bachelor’s degree program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (preferred).
- Must have availability to work part-time during the academic year.

- Ability to take direction and then work independently, meeting timelines for deliverables.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn new software tools quickly.
- Experience with CAD files and associated editing and manipulation programs.
Pay
The base pay range for this position is $49,920 - $73,216. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
