Internship Details
Dates: September 8 – December 18, 2026
Location: Villa Albertine, 972 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week
Status: Unpaid internship integrated into a university curriculum
Responsibilities
- Monitoring bilingual programs in public schools
- Assisting with the organization of the European Day of Languages and the Bilingual Education Fair
- Drafting speeches, briefing notes, reports, summaries, and professional correspondence
- Conducting research and mapping French departments at universities
- Supporting the development of a university working group dedicated to promoting French language education
- Liaising with schools, universities, and institutional partners
Profile Sought
Applicants should be Bachelor’s or Master’s students pursuing studies in fields such as:
- Education
- International Cooperation
- French as a Foreign Language
- International Relations
- Political Science
- Cultural Project Management
- Marketing or Communications
- Related disciplines
Strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates should have at least a B2 level in French. Knowledge of additional languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, Creole, Arabic, or others, is considered an asset.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be enrolled at a U.S. university that is able to establish an internship agreement with Villa Albertine.
- The internship is conducted in person in New York City.
