About the role

The Education Coordinator II – Respiratory Therapy (RT) is a member of the Education and Professional Development team responsible for delivering respiratory education programs for respiratory care practitioners across all clinical areas and for nursing staff in selected areas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate orientation, in‑services, skills‑lab competency validations, continuing education, and ongoing competency development.
• Collaborate with other health‑care team members to provide clinical input and education as an expert practitioner, facilitator, and change agent for new initiatives and projects.
• Promote competency and quality care through educational activities aligned with current health‑care trends and the organization’s strategic goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years clinical experience as a respiratory care practitioner.
• At least 2 years experience in an education role.
• Bachelor’s degree in respiratory care or related sciences.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the state of Texas.
• Preferred certifications: PALS, NRP, BLS, Asthma Certification.

Schedule

First Shift, 40 hours per week.
