Educational Conferences

Congratulations on your interest in coordinating educational conferences at HSS! Here's what you'll be doing:

• Coordinates the synchronization and management of activities related to the educational conference under the direction of the Complex Joint Reconstruction (CJRC) Education Director.
• Delineates tasks to the administrative manager as needed and serves as the main liaison between the HSS Education Department and CJRC.
• Responsible for planning, organizing, executing, and all close out procedures related to conference activities.
• Required to be present at all conference-related activities (e.g., welcome dinner and day of conference) to ensure organization and serve as the point of contact for the Education Director and conference participants.
• Maintains open communication channels during and before conference dates.

CJRC Education Specific Projects

This role will work closely with the Education Director to develop the CJRC Education Program and ensure milestones for development are met. Responsibilities include:

• Supports the development and structure of the Education program.
• Works with other departments to ensure the CJRC Education Program meets standards, goals, and timelines established internally and by the institution.
• Maintains open communication between all invested parties.
• Develops, supports, and crafts digital media presence.
• Provides project support for CJRC Clinical and Research fellows on education-oriented tasks.
• Affirms the synchronization of research activities within the CJRC as it relates to sub-programs and conferences that fall under the Education umbrella.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Required - Bachelors; Preferred - Masters.
• Experience: Required - 1 year Healthcare/Research Experience; Preferred - 3 years Healthcare/Research.
• Education/Learning/Training: Data management systems including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and other industry-specific software programs.

Working Conditions

• Physical Working Conditions: Sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about the department and traverse the hospital campus.
• Environmental Working Conditions: Located in a comfortable indoor area.
• Hazards: OSHA Category 3 Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, or other potentially infectious materials and Category 1 tasks are not a condition of employment.
