About the role
Your role as an Education Coordinator at Child Development Schools will involve serving as a coach, resource, and advocate for educators across assigned centers, directly shaping the quality of education for over 30,000 children. You will spend time in classrooms observing, coaching, and collaborating with teachers to strengthen their practice and improve outcomes for children and families.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to plan, implement, and continuously improve the HighReach Learning curriculum and activity plans across all age groups
- Conduct formal and informal classroom observations, sharing specific feedback with teachers and administration to recognize best practices and identify areas for growth
- Evaluate classroom environments using assessment tools including ITERS-R, ITERS-3, ECERS-R, ECERS-3, and SACERS, and provide actionable recommendations to improve program quality
- Provide constructive, ongoing coaching and support to teachers, fostering continuous improvement in classroom practices
- Support positive staff-child interactions and promote a nurturing, inclusive environment across all assigned centers
- Assist with new employee training and mentorship, ensuring staff have the skills, knowledge, and access to resources needed to succeed
- Support teacher and family retention by equipping educators with the tools and confidence to deliver quality experiences
- Attend monthly Education Coordinator calls or review recordings to stay current on company goals, educational requirements, and best practices
- Foster a welcoming environment for children, families, and teachers that contributes to center morale and community engagement
Qualifications and Skills
You will still be a Lead Teacher in a classroom and function as a teacher on a daily basis, requiring strong teaching and leadership skills, as well as the ability to deliver feedback and present to leadership teams.

Pay
Pay: $15-$18, based on experience and education.
